Winona History Center

The Winona History Center, which includes operation of the Billy Sunday historic home, has been under the direction of the Department of History and Political Science since 2013. It consists of a museum and archives related to the local history of Winona Lake, the life of Billy Sunday, and the fascinating connections between this local history and the national social, religious, and political currents in America since the nineteenth century.

Students can use the History Center to complete internships where they gain valuable experience in preservation and public history. Many who participate in internships at the Winona History Center are students with a minor in Museum Studies.
