Our Interview with Political Science Student, Jeanette Sanchez

In this podcast we interview Jeanette Sanchez, a current student in our political science program, about her recent internship experience. Internships are required for all students in the department and political science majors have a variety of options. All of them require students to take the initiative and pursue the opportunities in which they are interested. Jeannette was able to secure an internship at Congressman Joe Donnelly’s Indianapolis office. Donnelly (D-Ind) formerly represented Indiana as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives (2007-2013) and currently serves as a U.S. Senator from Indiana.

Students can take advantage of other opportunities in Indianapolis as well, even in the
statehouse. Information on internships can be found below.
